At ITC and FBK MF co-authored two international patents, contributed in over 15 international and national projects, and developed open source and proprietary software packages for statistical machine translation and statistical language modelling. He conducted several industrial projects that lead to relevant deployments in the area of speech recognition technology and to the set-up of two spin-off companies.
