Luisa Bentivogli graduated in Philosophy of Language at the University of Bologna in 1999. She has been working as a researcher at Fondazione Bruno Kessler (formerly ITC-irst) since 1999. She has been involved in several research projects, including LIVEMEMORIES (active digital memories of collective life), FLARENET (fostering language resources network), MEANING (multilingual Web-scale language technologies), ONTOTEXT (ontology population from texts), WEBFAQ(flexible access and quality on the Web). Her interests include Evaluation of Human Language Technologies, Corpus Creation and Annotation, Local and Cross-Document Coreference Resolution, Computational Lexicography, Lexical Semantics, Contrastive Linguistics. Since October 2008, she has been part-time assigned to the Centre for the Evaluation of Language and Communication Technologies (CELCT) with the role of coordinating the activities of the Centre.
